The Red Sea Winery - a second generation family boutique winery

"The most exciting moment was the moment when I signed the first bottle created from grapes grown in the vineyard that I planted with my own hands...
The moment I fulfilled my dream.'

Our story

"I've always loved wine.

But my real romance with wine started in 2002.

I always wanted to produce something new. something unique. Boutique wine..."

I organized a small place at home, purchased basic equipment, did a lot of research and started making wine when in the first year I produced 40 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon, over the years I increased the types of wine and the quantities of bottles, with the motto leading me from the first bottle being: uncompromising quality.

In 2014, with the help of the mayor at the time, Mr. Meir Yitzhak Halevi, I leased an 18 dunam plot of land at the northern entrance to the city of Eilat, and began the next phase of my journey. My dream was to plant vineyards and establish a visitor center among the vineyards for the enjoyment of guests. A spacious, pleasant, natural place, next to a spacious and advanced winery. And two years later the long-awaited moment came, and I planted the first vineyard.

The planting of the vineyard was a defining event. This is an area with a very harsh climate, and a lot of research was needed regarding the grape varieties suitable for the area, without compromising on quality. Indeed, after 3 years of waiting, I harvested the first harvest of Chardonnay and Shiraz and discovered that the lack of compromise yielded a product of amazing quality, and already this year I planted the second vineyard with my especially favorite varieties, the white Chardonnay, and the red Petit Sirah.
